In 1999, Gabriel Sigrist and Pierre Grosjean founded the online magazine and press agency Largeur.com, which became LargeNetwork in 2009.
Before that, Gabriel worked as a journalist at Le Temps where he covered economic affairs and new technology. He also managed the newspaper's website.
Trained as an IT engineer, Gabriel worked in the research and development department of Swisscom in Bern before turning to journalism. He began his journalism career at Le Nouveau Quotidien.
