Benjamin Meier holds a Master’s degree in Religious Studies from the University of Lausanne, with a specialisation in anthropology, Islamic studies, and South Asian studies. He has pursued part of his academic training in Mexico and Jordan. He has worked for the Intercantonal Information Centre on Beliefs (CIC) and with Caritas in federal asylum seeker reception centres.
He subsequently turned to journalism and joined Large Network in 2025.
