Kim Figuerola

Holding a Master’s degree in Art History and a Bachelor’s degree in Film History and Aesthetics from the University of Lausanne, Kim Figuerola specialises in the intersections between cinema, contemporary art, and moving image installations. A former co-editor-in-chief of the film journal Ciné-Feuilles, a jury member for the Critics’ Prize 2025 at the Black Movie International Film Festival, and a portfolio jury member for the 2027 Nuit de la Photo in La Chaux-de-Fonds, she contributes to various media outlets, including Filmexplorer, as a journalist.

Since 2025, she has also been the bookshop manager of Large/Kiosk, where she oversees the day-to-day running of the bookshop and curates its selection of titles.
